STREET, DRAINAGE AND BUILDING, COMPOUNDING OR OFFENCES (KAWASAN PERBADANAN PUTRAJAYA) BY-LAWS 1999
IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 133 (xxviii) of the Street, Drainage and Building Act 1974, the State Authority hereby makes the following by-laws:
Citation And Application
1. These by-laws may be cited as the Street, Drainage and Building, Compaunding of Offences (Kawasan Perbadanan Putrajaya) By-laws 1999 and shall apply only to the Kawasan Perbadanan Putrajaya administered by the Perbadanan Putrajaya established under the Perbadanan Putrajaya Act 1995.
Compoundable Offences And Persons Who May Compound
2. Offences under sections 29, 30, 31, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 46, 47, 52, 55, 56, 57, 58, 70, 70(A), 71, 72, 73, 76, 78, 79, 80, 82, 85 and 87 may be compounded by the President, Secretary or any legal officer of the Perbadanan Putrajaya.
Sum To Be Collected And Method of Payment
3. (1) (a) The sum of money to be collected for compounding any of the offences under sections 29, 30, 31, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 46, 47, 52, 55, 56, 57, 58, 70, 70(A), 71, 72, 73, 76, 78, 79, 80, 82, 85 and offences under any by-laws made under the Act shall not exceed a sum equal to fifty per centum of the maximum amount of a fine with which the offence is punishable.
(b) The sum of money to be collected for compounding any of the offences under sections 46, 47 and 87 of the Act shall not exceed five hundred ringgit.
